The Yam Suph Society
The Narrow Way Army
"Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of Yahweh, which He will accomplish for you today." (Exodus 14:13)
The Name
Yam Suph (ים סוף) is the Hebrew name of the body of water that today is called the Red Sea. It was at Yam Suph that Lord Yahweh made a path for the children of Israel out of bondage, and it was at Yam Suph that He put to death the army sent to pursue them. The crossing at Yam Suph is the founding act of a people set apart, redeemed not by their own strength but by the mighty hand of their God.
For us the name is not decorative. It is a confession. It says that we are men who trust in the same deliverance, who walk in the same path, and who bear witness that "the ones whom God will justify are not those who have heard the Law but those who have kept the Law."
Our Calling
We keep the commandments of Lord Yahweh, honour His Son, and walk the narrow way spoken of by Him. We seek, for ourselves first and thereafter for as many Christians as will hear it, the restoration of God's holy law to its rightful place in the life of the believer.
We are not a church, and we do not compete with any church. We hold one another accountable to the standard required of those who profess the Name, and put our voice, our labour, and our purse to the practical service of the will of God in the world.
