The Supreme Council
The Society is governed by the Supreme Council, which holds authority over its statutes, its ordinances, and its internal discipline. The head of the Council is our founder, Commander Matityahu. All members are bound by the decisions of the Council, and its deliberations are private.
The Atzumim
The members of the Society are called the atzumim, the strong ones. An atzum is a man set apart: one for whom Lord Yahweh comes before self, before family, and before nation. He keeps the holy law of God not as a private discipline alone, but as the pattern he wishes to see restored in the lives of all Christians. To that end he gives his voice, his labour, and his purse: teaching where he may teach, contending where he must contend, and funding the works that carry the will of God further than any one man could carry it alone.
Each atzum is an autonomous man, responsible before God for his own conduct and beholden to the statutes and regulations of the Supreme Council. He answers first to Lord Yahweh, and thereafter to his brothers.
Membership
Membership is open to men, aged eighteen and above, who belong to a Torah-observant Christian denomination and who profess faith in Lord Yahweh and His Son. A candidate nominates himself by writing to the Society through the office of the Supreme Council. Admission follows inquiry into the character and conduct of the candidate, and rests with the Council.
Membership is a lifetime commitment. It may not be relinquished at the member's own hand, and if it is severed by the Supreme Council, it is not regained. A man who takes the oath of the atzumim takes it once, and adheres to it for the rest of his life.
Conduct
The Society is non-political. It takes no side in the affairs of nations, endorses no party, and forbids its members from making political use of its name. It is not a church, not a denomination, and not a public institution, and it seeks no recognition from bodies outside itself.
