The Yam Suph Society

The Narrow Way Army

The Red Sea Award

The Red Sea Award is the highest honour granted by the Society. It is named for the crossing at Yam Suph, and it is reserved for those whose lives bear witness to the same trust and the same obedience: men and women who have walked between the waters, at cost to themselves, in service of Lord Yahweh and His people. The Award confers a title held for life and is accompanied by a medallion.

Criteria

The Red Sea Award is given for conduct alone. It is not awarded for wealth, for standing, or for public prominence. Recipients need not be members of the Society. The Award is open to any Christian, of any denomination, whose life and work the Supreme Council judges to be a fitting contribution to the body of the Messiah.

The Council looks in particular to men and women such as these:

Bestowal

Nominations are considered by the Supreme Council in the months preceding the annual Assembly. Recipients are named at the Assembly itself and honoured at every Assembly thereafter for the remainder of their lives. Once bestowed, the Red Sea Award is held for life; it is not withdrawn by the Council, and it is not surrendered by the recipient.

Nominations

Nominations may be submitted in writing to the Supreme Council at info@yamsuph.net. A nomination should name the candidate, describe the conduct that recommends them, and identify the nominator. The deliberations of the Council are private, and its decisions are final.

Laureates

Red Sea laureates are honoured every year. You can see a full list of Red Sea laureates here.
